Publish your event

Are you a museum, a gallery, a foundation, a cultural association or an events organisation? Publish your event on Cultural Heritage Online, free of charge.

Write in your own language. What goes online is English: our editorial assistant rewrites your text in the house style and gives you the English version to read and correct before you send it.

Publishing has no ceiling and no card, and it is not a trial. Your event gets its own page, appears on the map and on the city page travellers read while they are planning. If your email address belongs to a museum, a foundation, a gallery, a library, a public body or a university, the event is published as soon as you confirm the address; otherwise it goes to a short editorial review.

Eventbrite, public Facebook events, Ticketone, Vivaticket, institutional sites. We import the title, description, dates, times, place and image. The original link is kept as "Tickets & info" on the event page.
We use this address to confirm the publication. If it belongs to a museum, foundation, gallery, library, public body or university, the event is published at once, without review.

Edit freely before sending.
For a one-day event leave the end date empty. If it runs over several days (an exhibition from 12 to 28 June), fill in both.
Times are optional. Useful for a one-hour event, an evening, a weekend with opening hours.
Recurring events with different dates or times (weekly, monthly, several dates): publish the first one, then from its page click "Clone event" to open a new form with the data filled in. Change only the date and the time, and publish it as a separate event. Each clone is independent.
Start typing and we suggest the place pages already in the archive. The event is linked to the page you pick.
Every event is linked to a place page. Not in the list? Create a quick place page →
By uploading it you declare the photograph is yours, or that you hold the rights, and you answer for it. Write the photographer's name in the description. The sizes are handled by us: JPG or PNG, from a phone is fine.
Only if the photograph is already published elsewhere under a free licence (Wikimedia, your museum's own site).

Prefer to just send it to Sofia?

Send her the poster, a few photos and the essentials — what it is, where, when. She writes the event page, shows you a preview, and publishes it under your name once you say yes.

Sofia works with anyone who has an account, and a free one is enough. If you do not have one she opens it for you: just write to her.

Opening hours, prices, dates and contacts come only from you: Sofia does not invent them, and every page passes the editors before it goes live. Sofia is an AI assistant, and says so in every reply.
