Arte Laguna Prize — the 21st Edition Exhibition at the Arsenale Nord, Venice, 7–29 November 2026
Photo: Photo: Marco Totè, courtesy Arte Laguna Prize The Arte Laguna Prize, the international contemporary art competition founded in Venice in 2006 by the MoCA cultural association, presents the exhibition of its 21st edition at the Arsenale Nord from Saturday 7 to Sunday 29 November 2026, in the Tese 89, 90 and 91. The show is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm, and admission is free.
The opening takes place on Friday 6 November 2026 at 5 pm: live performances from 5 to 7 pm, and from 7 pm to 8.15 pm the awarding ceremony, at which the winners of the prize and of the special prizes are announced before the finalists’ works. A collateral group exhibition is shown in Tesa 98 of the Arsenale Nord.

The finalists are chosen each year by an international jury from thousands of entries in painting, sculpture, photography, video, performance, digital art and design, and the exhibition in the sixteenth-century shipyards of the Republic is the moment in which the works are shown together to the public and to the jury. Since the first edition in 2006 the prize has brought several thousand artists to Venice, and the Arsenale Nord, the northern basin of the old naval dockyard, has been its home for many years.

How to get there: by waterbus (ACTV lines 4.1 and 5.2) to the Bacini – Arsenale Nord stop; on foot across the pedestrian walkway from Campo della Celestia; from the airport with the Alilaguna Blue line every 30 minutes, Bacini – Arsenale Nord stop. The press kit, with texts in Italian and English and high-resolution images, is available from the organiser; details and updates are on the official site linked below.
