Les Drapiers occupies a house on Rue Hors-Château, the long street that runs below the Montagne de Bueren through the oldest quarter of Liège. From 17 October it shows Au-dessus du sans fond, photographs by Pierre Liebaert, built around the thought Rilke set down about the things we use every day: that they are often made out of plain anxiety, because nothing lasts.

The exhibition is part of the Biennale de l’Image Possible 2026, and — as the Belgian broadcaster RTBF reports — the photographs are shown in dialogue with objects from the collections of the Musée de la Vie wallonne, the museum of Walloon daily life a few minutes’ walk away. One of the works on view, Simul & Singulis (II), is an inkjet print of 2023 measuring 25 by 37.5 centimetres.

Cultural Heritage Online lists this exhibition for readers who follow Liège beyond its monuments. Rue Hors-Château is one of the streets where the city kept its sixteenth- and seventeenth-century fabric, and the galleries that work inside it are part of how that fabric stays in use.
