Our Record, in Fifteen Dates

A new publication with a long paper trail. Every line below is a dated record written by somebody else — a university, a UN body, a city museum, a design institute, an art fair.

Cultural Heritage Online is published by OASIS Tech LLC. The archive behind it began in 1998 and went online in 2001 as Beni Culturali Online. What follows is not our own account of ourselves: each entry links to the source that says it, so you can check every one of them.

How to check us

Every line above links to the institution that wrote it — not to a page of ours. Where a record rests on our own archive, we say so. Where we cannot date something, we leave the date out rather than invent one. If you find an error, write to us and we will correct it: our corrections policy is public, and it is the same standard we apply to everything we publish.

What we do now

The archive holds 16,800+ heritage places in 6,300+ cities (measured 8 October 2026), each with coordinates, verified opening information and editorial context, in English. We publish a magazine, itineraries, and partnership pages for destinations and brands. And we are a registered independent journalistic publication: ISSN 3144-1866, with a public masthead, editorial guidelines and an ownership statement.
