All’interno del palazzo Santacroce-Aldobrandini, progettato nella seconda metà del 1500 dal Mascherino e presto alienato a favore del Monte di Pietà ente assistenziale caritatevole, ammireremo una straordinaria cappella costruita nel 1618.
Considerata gioiello dell’architettura barocca, è ricca di marmi, bassorilievi e statue opera di maestri del XVIII secolo, tra cui De Rossi e Bizzaccheri.
