Mario Asnago died in Monza on 28 January 1981. With his partner Claudio Vender he had designed some of Milan’s most disciplined rationalist buildings — the apartment block on via Euripide (1937), the offices on via Alberico Albricci (1944), the group on Piazza Velasca (1947) — none of which yet has an entry of its own in this archive.
