2027 IIIF Online Meeting — Call for Proposals Open
The International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Consortium holds its 2027 Online Meeting from 26 to 28 January 2027 — three days of talks, demonstrations and training on the open standards that let museums, libraries and archives publish and share high-resolution images and audiovisual material across platforms. The meeting follows a “Working and Learning” theme: new IIIF projects and implementations on one side, practical skill-building on the other. Attendance is free and open to all.
The call for proposals is open until 3 November 2026, in three formats: lightning talks (7 minutes), tool demos (5–7 minutes) and online workshop or training sessions of up to two hours. For anyone working with digital collections — from national libraries to a single local archive putting its photographs online — the IIIF meetings are among the most accessible entry points into the field: no travel, no fee, and a programme built by the community itself.
Proposals and programme details are on the official meeting page.
