English bike tour – Hidden gems in the Appia Antica Park

Join us on a beautiful bike tour in the green and natural area of the Caffarella Valley and along the Ancient Appian Way. We will open for you hidden archaeological gems as the Tomb of Annia Regilla (usually closed to public entrance) and we will walk inside the Circus and Villa Of Massenzio and ancient thermal bath. Together we'll take in the beautiful views, discover the river Almone, which was considered a sacred river in mythical Rome & runs through the first 2 miles of the ancient cobblestones. We’ll be surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, birds and archaeological Roman ruins and we will have a stop to take pictures of the symbol of the Appian Way: the Tomb of Cecilia Metella!

An incredible ride between nature and history in one of the most beatiful park of Rome: the Appia Antica Park. Caffarella Valley, Church of Quo Vadis, Tomb of Annia Regilla, and outside: The Nympheum of Egeria, thermal bath at Villa Capo di Bove, Tomb of Cecilia Metella, Circus and Villa of Massenzio.
