Mee in Mokum: nine Amsterdam walks, daily except Mondays

Gilde Amsterdam does not publish a calendar, because it does not need one: its walks leave every day except Monday, on the hour between 10:00 and 16:00, all year round. This listing covers departures from 25 August to 23 September 2026 — a month at a time, renewed as the season goes on.

The guides are volunteers of Stichting Gilde Amsterdam, the foundation set up in 1984 to put the knowledge a city already contains where it is wanted. Mee in Mokum is its walking arm: nine themed routes led by Amsterdammers who know the neighbourhood they are standing in. Groups never exceed ten people, and two separate bookings are never merged to fill a slot — which is what keeps a walk a conversation. What visitors pay goes back into the foundation’s volunteer programmes across the city.
