Mario Sironi (Sassari, 12 May 1885 – Milan, 13 August 1961), painter and decorator, was the leading theorist of mural painting in the period and the author, in 1933, of the «Manifesto of Mural Painting». He made frescoes and large mosaics for public buildings, among them the mosaics of the Palace of Justice in Milan. Anniversary documented by Cultural Heritage Online.
