Death Anniversary: Vincenzo Lancia — February 15, 1937
Vincenzo Lancia (Fobello, 24 August 1881 – Turin, 15 February 1937) died in Turin at fifty-five. The founder of Lancia in 1906, he had tied his name to the load-bearing body and the independent front suspension of the Lambda (1922). The last project he followed in his lifetime, the aerodynamic Lancia Aprilia, was presented in the year of his death. Anniversary documented by Cultural Heritage Online.
