Giomici Castle
Giomici Castle is a medieval fortification set in the wooded hills of Umbria, near Gubbio, rising above the Chiascio river valley at approximately 43.19° N, 12.61° E. The castle formed part of the network of defensive strongholds that controlled the roads and upland territory of the Gubbio district during the communal and signorial periods of central Italian history.
