Yunggeolleung

History
The burial ground honors members of the Joseon royal lineage. Lady Hyegyeong was posthumously elevated to Queen status, as was Crown Prince Sado, who became known as King Jangjo. King Jeongjo and Queen Hyoui were interred at Geolleung. The arrangement of the two tombs reflects the dynastic relationships and honored positions of those buried here.
