On 5 May 1918, King Vittorio Emanuele II passed through the villa’s grounds with troops of the Piedmont Brigade, a moment commemorated by a plaque affixed to the entrance gate. After extensive restoration work, Villa Ghislanzoni has been repurposed for agritourism while continuing to host cultural events, theatrical performances, and concerts.
