Breidablikk museum

The Breidablikk shipowner mansion, located on Eiganes in Stavanger, is a well-preserved mansion that was built in 1881-1882 for the merchant and shipowner Lars Berentsen. The villa was designed by architect Henrik Nissen. Breidablikk is managed as a museum by the MUST - Museum Stavanger AS (formerly Stavanger Museum Foundation).

The villa is in Swiss style with neo-Romanesque and Gothic features. Both the building and the interiors are characterized by a high quality craftsmanship.

The main building still houses the structure's old main house and barn from 1852. The barn contains an exhibit of farm tools and horse-drawn vehicles.

The park, designed by gardener Poul H. Poulsson, is well preserved in an English style with exotic trees and curved gravel paths.
