Spinelli Palace  (formerly Ridolfi Zanchini Palace) is a historic building in Florence located in Borgo Santa Croce 13. Architect Bernardo Rossellino.

Construction 1460-1470, Owner of the Marquises Malenchini, Client Tommaso Spinelli.

Also seat of the Institute for Art and Restoration following the experience gained during the tragic days of the 1966 Florence flood, two childhood friends, Francesco Amodei and Sauro Martini, decide to give life to an Institute dedicated to art and restoration.

It is September 26, 1976!

The Institute for Art and Restoration was born on 26 September 1976 and operates both as a training, specialization and professional updating center in the field of conservation and restoration of the world cultural heritage, and as a consultancy and restoration center on behalf of public and private entities.
