Madonna di Campiglio is a tourist resort of 822 inhabitants in the province of Trento located at 1,550 m a.s.l. not far from Campo Carlo Magno, between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella Alps.
It is part of the municipalities of Pinzolo and Tre Ville (which arose following the merger of the municipality of Ragoli with those of Montagne and Preore).
The town can be reached via the Campiglio state road 239 which connects the Val di Sole with the Giudicarie valleys passing through the Campo Carlo Magno alpine pass.
