Tour Eiffel - Visita Virtuale 360°

The Eiffel Tower is the most famous monument in Paris, known throughout the world as a symbol of the city itself and of France.

The Tower was officially opened to the public at 11:50 am on May 15, 1889, nine days after the start of the Exhibition: exactly two years, four months and seven days had passed since the foundation was laid.

There was also a guest register, of course, and the first to affix his signature was Eiffel himself, who wrote: "Midday minus ten, May 15, 1889.

The tower is open to the public. Long last!".

The Eiffel Tower is located in the western 7th arrondissement, in the very center of Paris, at the northwestern end of the Champ de Mars.

The structure is built on a floor at 33.50 meters above sea level, not far from the banks of the Seine, where piers are located for mooring pleasure boats.

All around the tower rise buildings of great historical and architectural interest, such as the École Militaire, the Pont d'Iéna, the Palais de Chaillot and the UNESCO headquarters.

info and times: From June 14th to August 31st, open every day from 09:00 to 00:45.

The rest of the year from 09.30 to 23.45.
