Passignano sul Trasimeno is an Italian town of 5 712 inhabitants in the province of Perugia in Umbria. It stands on a promontory located on the northern shore of Lake Trasimeno and is part of the Monti del Trasimeno mountain community and of the Association of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The climate of Passignano is temperate sublitorary with an annual average of about 14 ° C and is characterized by not particularly harsh winters (the average temperature of both January and February, the coldest months, is 6 ° C) and summers with high temperatures, but not torrid (the temperature of the hottest month, August, is 23.5 ° C).
