The Ca 'Foscari Theater is a large and modern environment, the result of the recent restoration of a part of the architectural complex of Santa Marta (Venice), a splendid example of industrial archeology in brick which until the 1960s housed a cotton mill.
The theater is located close to the port facilities, and can also be reached by car, with prior authorization.
Once used as a theater room for the employees of the former cotton mill, the Ca 'Foscari Theater is a classic Italian theater capable of hosting up to 186 people, and equipped with modern multimedia equipment.
It hosts numerous initiatives, mainly by Ca 'Foscari, but also by other Venetian institutions.
In the Ca 'Foscari Theater, shows, workshops and theater and dance workshops, film screenings and music workshops take place.
