Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas

The Marqués de Dos Aguas (Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas) palace is characterized by its great external decorations, the alabaster door from 1745 stands out.

The Marqués de Dos Aguas Palace is a magnificent building, a stately mansion that in the past was owned by the Marquises of Dos Aguas, currently owned by the Spanish State, intended to house the National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuous Arts.

In 1699 the Rabassa Perellós family acquired the title of Marquisate of Dos Aguas in 1699 granted by King Charles II.

The building was built following the Gothic style of the time and only with the renovation in the mid-eighteenth century the building was enriched with large internal and external decorations.
