Nonseum - Museum of useless things and wrong inventions

Beyond Dadaism and Pataphysics: one hour from Vienna, an inexhaustible warehouse of bizarre objects, on the border between art and the absurd from all over the world.

From the spoon with holes to the glasses for voyeurs, from beds for insomniacs to the portable anonymizer so as not to appear in the photos of tourists, the Nonseum collects oddities from all over the world.

Originally there is the idea of Fritz Gail, a failed inventor who this time has taken the right path: since 1984 the museum has attracted more than 100,000 curious visitors.

Thanks to his mix of humor and creativity he has led some to consider the museum as a sort of manifesto of meaningless art.

Founded in 1984 by Fritz Gall, an inventor with little public acclaim who came up with the idea after a fair ... without success, it is now a fun and bizarre collection of a few hundred objects that attracts thousands of onlookers every year.
