The Archaeological Museum of Agro Falisco is located inside the Sangallo Fort.
Since December 2014, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities has been managing the museum and castle through the Lazio museum complex, which in December 2019 became the Regional Directorate for Museums.
The exhibition is housed in the sixteenth-century rooms on the first floor of the fortress, built by Antonio da Sangallo on behalf of Pope Alexander VI.
The itinerary traces the historical evolution of the Falisci civilization, exposing the most significant findings of the archaeological excavations in the area.
In one of the rooms the tomb of the Quercia Sarcophagi is reconstructed, found during the excavations of the necropolis of Penna at the end of the 19th century.
