The Agostino Pepoli Regional Museum is a museum of art, archeology and local history in Trapani, it is one of the most important museums in Sicily.
Established in 1906-1908 as a civic museum by Count Agostino Pepoli and initially based on the private collection of Count Sieri Pepoli and Neapolitan paintings donated by General Giovanbattista Fardella, it is located in a former Carmelite monastery of the fourteenth century adjacent to the Basilica-sanctuary of Maria Santissima Annunziata.
In 1921 he acquired the collection of cribs, ceramics and archaeological objects of Count Francesco Hernandez of Erice.
