Kamenjak Park - Virtual Tour 360°

Kamenjak Park is a small peninsula consisting of a thin strip of land about 5 kilometers long, located at the southern end of Istria (Croatia), south of Pula and near Medulin within which it falls.

We recommend it for an unforgettable summer.

The Gran Krsin Kamenjak area is the natural habitat of the green toad - an endangered species protected by law - and twenty-nine bird species including the brown swift.

The seabed has a rich and complex ecosystem and hosts numerous protected animal and plant species including the snub-nosed horse (hippocampus guttulatus), the castanet (or periska - triangular shell that lives fixed in the sand or in the rock), bivalve molluscs such as the Lithophaga .

There are also two marine reserves of particular interest: one includes the waters of the Islands of Sekovac, Fener and Ceja, the other includes the area between the island Fenoliga, the Island Debeljak up to the Bay of Kamenjak.

Kamenjak Park is famous for its picturesque bays: there are more than thirty of them connected by dirt paths and indicated by signs that define their main characteristics.

Among them we point out the Pinizule bay of gravel and pebbles with stone slabs for sunbathing - there is a restaurant and nearby are the dinosaur path, and a cycle-pedestrian path ideal for exploring the Park and numerous bays along the coast of the Park.
