Polytecnical University of Marche

The architect Belluschi designed monumental and prestigious works. The center has the College of Engineering, the College of Agriculture and the Academy of Sciences.

In the same venue, corresponding research centers were set up to meet the teaching and research of the new college, namely: Biology Center and Natural Science Center.

At the same time, in the TORRETE area, a medical center (medical school) was set up to satisfy medical education and technical research; The School of Economics is located in the city center, in the splendid VILLAREY building, it was originally a military station and after repairs it was used as a teaching for the School of Economics address.

In order to ensure the subsequent management and administrative management of the university, the General Affairs Office and the Office of the President of the University are located in the 18th century building in the Roman Forum. The General Affairs Office is closely connected with other administrative service centers to fulfill all administrative activities.

The sports center is located in the PASATORA area and is the address of the former medical school and was moved due to the huge and devastating landslide of 1982. A modern garden was also designed in the same area, connected with the Agricultural College and the agricultural experimental area located in the AGUGLIANO area to meet teaching and research needs.

At the same time, the reception for researchers and scholars from other universities or abroad was set up at the SAMIRA university (formerly a military camp station, later repaired) to meet the reception needs of the staff of national or international conferences.

On 18 January 2003, the University of Ancona officially changed its name to "Marche University of Technology"
