Casa Esagono is a housing structure that was always built by Vittorio Giorgini in 1957.

Its particularity lies in the hexagonal shape that makes it interesting as a first example of modular structure.

In fact, starting from this basic structure, the author thought it was interesting to design a housing system that could somehow be made up of different structures, also cellular; we find an explicit reference in nature in the reticular structures of the hives.

The Esagono house is also raised from the ground by wooden pillars that insulate it from a thermal point of view in order to combat the humidity that necessarily, given the position facing the sea, is present.

The "aerial" solution adopted by Giorgini is certainly almost prehistoric but at the same time modern, not to say futuristic.
