Historical supper of famous painters, writers and lovers of the Tuscan food and wine tradition, among the most historic trattorias in Florence, the Antico Fattore since 1865 has been handed down the recipes of the best dishes of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine. Since then, fresh homemade pasta, tortelloni, pappardelle, pici and good wine from the heart of Chianti cannot be missing from the table every day. The oil and salami are the setting for the careful selection of the best meats. The fettunta, the cabbage and lard crostone, and the tortelli with porcini mushrooms and truffles anticipate the taste of sausages with beans all'uccelletto, ossobuco and the absolute queen, the Florentine steak. These are just some of our delicious Florentine dishes. The Antico Fattore has been and still is the gym of infinite palates. It has been awarded many gastronomic orders for its famous sage giblets or for its meat and artichoke rolls, which have come down to us together with the more classic specialties such as Florentine tripe, of even older origin than the Uffizi themselves.
