Drena Castle is a medieval castle located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Trento.
The site where the castle stands has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the discovery of the remains of a Bronze Age castelliere. The first known owners of the medieval manor were the Sejano family. The latter clashed with the da Arco family, who wanted possession of the castle because of its strategic location on the road from Trento to Lake Garda. Eventually the da Arco family prevailed and in 1174 the manor became their property.
