In Valdobbiadene, a land famous for the production of excellent Prosecco, in the Veneto region, there is the Villa Barberina relay. The villa, counted among the Venetian residences, belonged to the family of textile entrepreneurs Piva-Viansson for about a century and was then purchased in 2004 by the Franco family, producers of Prosecco and owners of the Nino Franco Spumanti winery.
This period home, located on the Treviso hills, is surrounded by the greenery of a park with centuries-old trees. The external part consists of a central body with two wings at the ends of which the dovecote towers stand.
The interior, in which the original style of the furnishings has been maintained, was restored in 2008 and transformed into a luxury relay with 6 elegant suites. A large swimming pool on two levels overlooking the park, the wonderful surrounding vineyards and the Prealps, is a place of peace and refreshment on hot summer days.
