The Certosa Museum is located in the Charterhouse of Pavia , a historic building owned by the State, and occupies the spaces of the so-called Palazzo Ducale.
Permanently opened in 2008, it is divided into two floors with permanent exhibition.
The museum's mission is to protect, conserve, enhance, expose to the public and promote knowledge of the historical and artistic heritage on display, coming from the Certosa monument.
It collaborates with other museums in the city of Pavia for educational and cultural initiatives in general aimed at diversified groups of users, from school to the adult public.
