The extraordinary archaeological and landscape complex of Villa Massenzia, located between the Via Appia Antica and the Via Pignatelli, is owned by the Special Archaeological Superintendence of Rome.
The complex includes a vast land estate and numerous properties of priceless value, to say the least.
The vast area pertaining to the palace built by Maxentius together with the Circus and the Mausoleum of Romulus, above the structures of the villa which had already belonged to Herodes Atticus.
The space is dedicated to citizens in the context of public initiatives and a new exhibition area.
