Nuraghe Maiori (or Majori) is an archaeological site located a few kilometers from the town of Tempio Pausania (Sardegna - Italy) and is located near a beautiful typical restaurant that we recommend a visit also for the purchase of traditional local products.
The building is the classic nuraghe and has a single tower type structure, built entirely of granite, it is of the central corridor type, it has a mixed typology between the corridor nuraghe and the thòlos with central corridor and binary chambers, has a massive and irregular structure, whose ceiling on the ground floor is still intact.
The bastion can be reached via a staircase accessible from the courtyard and is in excellent condition of conservation.
The entrance leads to a central corridor, with an ogival roof, which crosses the whole building longitudinally and leads out onto a large courtyard.
The site as a whole is very attractive but it is not kept very well, we hope that with this vCARD we can make it known and promote it to awaken awareness of the importance of protecting and safeguarding these fantastic and unique places.
