The Forum Olitorio (Forum Holitorium in Latin) is an archaeological area of Rome, on the slopes of the Campidoglio, between the Theater of Marcellus and the Boario Forum.
In ancient times it housed the vegetable and fruit market, just as the area of the adjacent Boario Forum was used as a meat market.
Inside there was also a sacred area including the three small temples dedicated to Janus, Speranza and Giunone Sòspita and a bronze statue of an elephant, the Elephas Herbarius.
