Milan Nosedo Purification Plant - Depur Art Lab Gallery
Milano Nosedo Purification Plant is the first and largest wastewater treatment plant in the city of Milan, and is located near the Chiaravalle Abbey.
This modern plant, which became a center of excellence at an international level, came into full operation in 2004 and determined the conditions for an epoch-making event: the rebirth of the Vettabbia which, after having been the main open-air sewage channel for over a century of Milan, has regained a new value and great potential not only in terms of landscape and environment but also in terms of production.
It hosts the Depur Art Lab Gallery which is a permanent exhibition of Contemporary Art with art installations on the theme of Nature and Water, a place immersed in the Vettabbia Park, an oasis of peace immersed in the agricultural area on the outskirts of Milan.
