Villino Favaloro - Museum of Photography

The Villino Favaloro, also known as the Museum of Photography, is located in Palermo, Sicily, and is an important institution dedicated to the preservation and promotion of photography as an art form.

The villino was built in 1906 by the famous architect Ernesto Basile and is a beautiful liberty-style building, richly decorated with frescoes, ceramics, and precious marbles.

In 2004, it was restored and transformed into a museum.

The museum houses a vast collection of photographs, including images from the 19th and 20th centuries by Italian and international authors.

The collection also includes antique photographs of Palermo and Sicily, taken by local and foreign photographers.
