Tosio Palace - Santa Giulia Museum

Tosio Palace is located in the historic center of Brescia, in Lombardy (Italy), and is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in the city.

Built between the 15th and 16th centuries, the palace is named after the Tosio family, who purchased it in 1668 and lived there until the 19th century.

Today, Tosio Palace houses the Santa Giulia Museum, one of the main tourist attractions in Brescia.

The building features a Renaissance-style facade, with a series of mullioned windows and triforia facing the street. Inside, the palace features a series of frescoed rooms decorated with stucco and precious marbles, which testify to the richness and beauty of Italian Renaissance architecture. In particular, the Hall of Festivities is one of the most imposing rooms, with a wooden ceiling decorated with stucco and frescoes.

The Santa Giulia Museum, presents a vast collection of archaeological finds, sacred art, and works of art from the city and the surrounding region. Among the most important works on display in the museum are Roman artifacts from the imperial period, Lombard art, paintings and sculptures from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, and the rich collection of liturgical objects.
