The Agostinelli Museum was born from the lifelong collection of the collector Domenico Agostinelli, who moved to Rome in 1959.
The museum contains 60,000 objects of popular culture divided and classified into four hundred and fifty collections, from that of buttons to that of human teeth, from that of autographs to that of boot lifters.
The Museum was inaugurated around the Sixties and is a true Box of Time: a series of objects belonging to our contemporaneity, such as color televisions, CD players, are collected in a single room which will only be opened in 2050, when this collection will represent for posterity a topic of antiquarian study.
