Montemartini Power Station

In 1997, a branch of the Capitoline Museums was opened in the former Giovanni Montemartini Thermoelectric Plant in the Ostiense district.

The Montemartini Power Station was a thermoelectric plant in Rome, it was inaugurated on 30 June 1912 and became the first electricity production plant of the Municipal Electricity Company of Rome.
