The Church of San Marcello al Corso in Rome is located in the Trevi district, along via del Corso.
It is the church of the cardinal's title of San Marcello. Although tradition has it that the church was built over the prison of Pope Marcellus I (died 309), it is known that the Titulus Marcelli was present no later than 418, when Pope Boniface I.
Was elected there by Pope Gregory I in 590, he saw the men move from San Marcello.
Every year the church hosts an artistic nativity scene in a Roman setting and there are ancient tombs, with important monuments of prestigious people.
