Capitol of Havana

Construction of the building began in March 1926 and was inaugurated two years and fifty days later, on May 20, 1929. Having become one of the symbols of Cuba, at the time of President Fulgencio Batista it was the official seat of the House of Representatives and the Cuban Senate.
