Cargo21 is a unique cultural center, a structure that will house the Foundation's library, the exhibition of the "Valentia" Contemporary Art Collection, spaces for artistic and educational workshops devoted to the creation of original productions, presentations and live performances

Cargo21 is a body for the production of ideas, art and culture: a physical place and a multidisciplinary network, a center of creative activities, a place to experiment processes of learning and shared work.

The purpose of CARGO21 is to know, to experiment together to give voice to the social, cultural and creative capital of society. In particular, it is in tune with some values, principles and keywords that are the heritage of a history of our country.

COMMON GOOD:

A shared resource that everyone has the right to access. A common good to be protected, to increase one's knowledge and the well-being of society.

PARTICIPATION:

An organization that involves and stimulates the participation of the whole community. A structure that enhances the contribution of individuals, associations and all the energies of the territory of the territory.

INNOVATION:

A center of creative activities, a place to experiment with innovative and sustainable cultural forms through learning processes based on learning by doing. A space for interdisciplinary co-design.

HOSPITALITY:

A place where everyone can feel welcome. An open space, attentive to listening to the territory and the needs of the community and people with difficulties. A place for meeting.

PLURAL:

A space that welcomes the diversity of ideas and is enriched through different critical contributions. A place that grows and makes it grow thanks to plurality, generating knowledge.

FOR EVERYONE:

A space in which generations mix, exchanging opinions and points of view, for a common cultural growth. A barrier-free place where everyone can freely access and enjoy everything.

It is the physical sign of an organized presence and of the proactive quality of the historical culture of the left and of its ability to transform itself

It is an ethical choice not to consume land and to adhere to building reuse

It is a peripheral condition experienced as a space of opportunity, as a space of freedom, as an availability to consciously non-standardized choices, which allow you to move towards new logics and different interpretations of everyday life
