Tina di Lorenzo Municipal Theater

The Tina di Lorenzo Municipal Theater, formerly known as the Vittorio Emanuele III Municipal Theater, is the main theater of Noto.

It has a capacity of 308 seats which includes four rows of boxes and a gallery with 88 seats.

The building, inaugurated in 1870, overlooks Piazza XVI Maggio, in the historic center.

It was designed by the Netino engineer Francesco Sortino who was inspired by the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples.

Since 2012 it owes its name to the theater actress Tina Di Lorenzo, who has performed there several times,
