Prince Gallone Palace

Palazzo Principesco dei Gallone among the most significant monuments of Tricase stands the Castle or Palazzo dei Principi Gallone, now property and seat of the Town Hall.

The first two parts are the oldest and still retain the characteristic structures of the fourteenth century; the central nucleus, built in 1661 by Stefano II Gallone, first Prince of Tricase, constitutes the body of the Castle.

The Palace, which has the appearance of the palace and the castle together, like all the feudal castles of that time, was transformed into a home by the Gallone family.
