Museum Sergipana People Gov. Marcelo Déda
Inaugurated on November 26, 2011, the Museu da Gente Sergipana Gov. Marcelo Déda is the first interactive multimedia museum in the north and north-east, comparable to the Portuguese Language Museum and the São Paulo Football Museum.
It is a totally technological museum aimed at exhibiting the collection of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the state of Sergipe, through interactive installations and traveling exhibitions.
Installed in the former building of the Colégio Atheneuzinho, the building has been completely restored by the Sergipe State Bank (Banese), its maintainer, in collaboration with the state government.
