Theater of Contradiction in Milan

The Theater of Contradiction in Milan (Lombardy - Italy) is a place where things are born. Shows, ideas, relationships. Confirming how projects also need their own ideal space to grow.

A habitat of creation. Which tells a lot about the importance of independent theater and the off-stage scene, so battered in this period (just yesterday we were writing about the closure of Teatro I in December, a very serious affair in the Milanese cultural panorama).

The 'Teatro della Contradizione' theater company was founded in 1993. Experimental plays and workshops on wooden floors in an eclectic space with a permanent theater company.

The Company was established following the artistic partnership between the director Marco Maria Linzi (Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan) and the actresses Sabrina Faroldi (Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan) and Micaela Brignone (School of Art of the Theater of Contradiction).

This central nucleus continues to create its own shows (21 productions from '93 to today) making use of the collaboration of external artists and the school's most capable students.
