Italian Shiatsu Do Academy

The Italian Shiatsu Do Academy was founded in 1985 by Professional Operators and Instructors with proven experience, in order to train Shiatsu with simple and effective teaching.

The idea of ​​creating a National Professional Shiatsu School slowly takes shape in the early 80s, the return from Spain of M ° Yahiro, the first Seminars in Italy with Master Masahiro Oki become an opportunity for meeting between some of the first "Operators Italian Shiatsu ". In those years everyone worked individually and usually the courses were short and occasional.

It is in the autumn of 1984 that we begin to meet to discuss the possibility of building a National School with a shared and homogeneous Training Program; it takes more than a year to get to "structure" the first courses of the Italian Shiatsu Do Academy, first in Milan, Cagliari and Siena and later in numerous other cities.
