National Etruscan Museum of Chiusi - National archaeological museum of Chiusi

The National Etruscan Museum of Chiusi (National archaeological museum of Chiusi) is located in via Porsenna 93 and collects numerous finds from excavations in the area, in particular very ancient canopies and typical sarcophagi. With the museum ticket you can also visit the tomb of the Lion, the tomb of the Pilgrim and, upon reservation, the tomb of the Monkey.

There is also an important restoration laboratory attached, specializing in archaeological material. Since December 2014, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities has managed it through the Tuscany Museum Centre, which in December 2019 became the Regional Museums Directorate.
