The Sulmona Museum of Art and Technology Confettiera is located in via Stazione Introdacqua 55, inside the Confettiero Pelino factory.
It is also commonly known as the Museo dei Confetti.
The museum was set up in the ancient building that was the factory set up by Cav. Mario Pelino in 1783 for the production of sugared almonds, then rebuilt in the nineteenth century, and moved to a modern industrial plant in the second half of the twentieth century.
The Museum was established by the Pelino family in 1988.
The museum located on two floors of the factory exhibits in addition to the various prizes won and various confetti packages, it exhibits all the machinery for the industrial production of sugared almonds from the establishment of the factory in the nineteenth century to today.
