The National Archaeological Museum of Civitavecchia, housed in the eighteenth-century Palace of Clement XIII (formerly the seat of the papal garrison), houses a series of archaeological finds from the ancient Centumcellae and from the entire area, including finds from the archaeological area of nearby Monte Rovello.
The museum, located in Piazza Cavour 1, is divided into three levels. Entry is free. Since December 2014, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities manages it through the Lazio Museum Complex, which became the Regional Directorate of Museums in December 2019.
